Being a foster carer with But a Memory is a big responsibility, but the rewards are endless.
All But a Memory foster horses are paid for and maintained by But a Memory. As a foster carer your responsibility is to feed, work, train and love them!
We are careful to match the foster carer with an appropriate horse for their ability.
All foster carers undergo training with a But a Memory team member that explains the rules and regulations of the program as laid out by the foster care manual.
All foster horses remain the property of But a Memory Horse Rescue and can not be sold or moved without consultation with a But a Memory representative.
All foster carers must have a property check with a But a Memory representative before entering the program.
